Trainr
Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026. These terms cover use of Trainr's public trainer listing, paid subscriptions, messaging, and discovery features.
Using Trainr
Trainr provides a directory for personal trainers and performance trainers to advertise services and for visitors to discover trainers. You agree to use the website lawfully, respectfully, and only for genuine training or business purposes.
Trainer listings
Trainers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, including qualifications, achievements, availability, pricing, photos, and claims. A complete profile must be approved before it can publish. Trainr may edit, suspend, or remove listings that appear misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with the service.
Client enquiries
Trainr may help visitors contact trainers, but training agreements, payments for sessions, health screening, cancellations, and session delivery are between the client and trainer unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Trainr does not charge per enquiry or take commission on coaching sessions.
Basic and paid listing plans
An approved Basic listing can publish without payment. Featured and Premium are optional recurring plans billed through Stripe and add clearly labelled placement, larger public galleries, and aggregate insights. Paid placement applies only after relevance and does not guarantee enquiries. By subscribing, you authorise the displayed recurring charge until cancellation. Displayed prices are complete; any tax treatment is handled as legally applicable.
Refunds and disputes
Paid plan fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel through the Stripe customer portal; cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the paid period. When paid access ends, paid placement and insights stop, while an otherwise eligible profile falls back to Basic rather than being removed. For billing disputes, contact Trainr support so we can help resolve the issue.
Messaging and moderation
Messages sent through Trainr must be relevant, lawful, and respectful. We may review reported conversations, remove content, limit messaging, or suspend accounts that send spam, harassment, scams, or unsafe content. Do not use messaging to share prohibited content or harm other users.
Trainer verification disclaimer
Trainr does not independently verify trainer qualifications, certifications, insurance, or claims. Listings are self-reported by trainers. Clients are responsible for confirming a trainer's credentials, suitability, and safety before engaging their services.
Health and fitness disclaimer
Fitness and performance training involve risk. Information on Trainr is not medical advice. Users should consider their health, seek professional advice where appropriate, and confirm a trainer's suitability before starting a program.
Content rights
By submitting listing content, trainers confirm they have the right to use it and grant Trainr permission to display, format, promote, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. Photos above a downgraded plan's public allowance may be retained privately so the trainer can reorder, replace, or delete them, but they are not displayed publicly.
Prohibited conduct
Users must not upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate others, scrape the service, interfere with security, harass users, publish false claims, or use Trainr to send spam.
Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or that every trainer profile has been independently verified.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Trainr is not liable for indirect losses, trainer-client disputes, health outcomes, third-party services, or decisions made based on public listing information.
Changes
Trainr may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
